Resumen:
Current education has undergone many changes from a traditionalist model to educational pedagogical models that allow the student to function and be the main actor within the training system, taking positions that allow them to achieve success. In order to contribute to the knowledge on this subject, the present essay was carried out through the study of the documentary and bibliographic review, with the technique of content analysis, among the main topics that the document addresses are the different conceptions raised by the authors on pedagogy and constructivism, the importance they have within education and the aspects that the teacher must consider to implement constructivism from the psychopedagogical point of view.

La educación actual ha surgido muchos cambios pasando de un modelo tradicionalista a modelos pedagógicos educativos que permitan al estudiante desenvolverse y ser el actor principal dentro del sistema formativo, tomando posturas que permitan alcanzar el éxito del educando. Con la finalidad de aportar a los conocimientos sobre esta temática, el presente ensayo fue realizado mediante el estudio de revisión documental y bibliográfica, con la técnica del análisis de contenido, entre las principales temáticas que aborda el documento se presentan las diferentes concepciones que plantean los autores acerca de la pedagogía y el constructivismo, la importancia que tienen los mismos dentro de la educación y los aspectos que debe considerar el docente para implementar el constructivismo desde el punto psicopedagógico.
