Aprendizaje por descubrimiento para la enseñanza de ciencias naturales en sexto grado EGB Unidad Educativa Julio Matovelle, 2022.

Abstract

Learning scenarios are constantly undergoing major transformations, this being one of the main factors that encourage the promotion of teacher training, in order to implement new teaching-learning methodologies in various educational institutions, which are intended to strengthen the academic level of students, optimizing their cognitive, reflective, analytical, creative and innovative development. The use of virtual platforms strengthens the understanding of content through the application of interactive activities, for this reason, the educator must implement new teaching methodologies that allow him to interactively impart new content ensuring the performance of his students, the same that allows them to improve their intellectual and holistic capacities based on the discovery learning method based on the theories of the pedagogue Jerome Bruner. The implementation of new methodological strategies allows to improve the transmission of knowledge when teaching a subject, allowing the student to feel motivated and involved in these new learning scenarios, improving their classroom environment. For this reason, the elaboration of an Educational Blog through Google Sites was considered, aimed at teachers of Natural Sciences in sixth grade E.G.B, "Unidad Educativa Julio Matovelle". In order to improve the teaching-learning process, where the educator by implementing these methodologies will contribute significantly in the construction of knowledge. That is why an exhaustive research was carried out with deductive and inductive approaches, which were based on the feasible results that will allow strengthening the education system. The methodologies applied in the research are quantitative-qualitative, because the appropriate instruments were used to verify the reality that is experienced in the institution and thus, to be able to establish options to support our object of study, the instruments applied in our field study are questionnaires, observation guide and interview, which supported their response in 31 students and 1 teacher focusing on the area of Natural Sciences, with these preliminaries it was possible to analyze the constancy in relation to the use of educational virtual platforms and interactive activities within the classroom environment, after the application of the instruments we proceeded to perform tabulations, statistical tables, which allow supporting and evidencing the research. After obtaining the information from the instruments applied, the proposal was drafted taking into account the characteristics of the research and the components involved in it, for the development of the blog information was selected from the sixth grade natural science books under the regulations of the curriculum of the Ministry of Education, interactive activities were also designed through the virtual platforms Wordwall and Educaplay that will strengthen the topics taught by the teacher. The purpose of the Educational Blog is to encourage teachers in the area of Natural Sciences to improve their teaching strategies through the use of technological platforms, where the student, through the method of learning by discovery, also called heuristic, will be able to autonomously build meaningful learning.
