The use of didactic resources for the development of vocabulary in english language writing.

Abstract

The English language in schools is acquired mainly through the teaching of oral vocabulary, neglecting the written part; this generates problems in the correct writing of texts and one becomes a negative aspect to achieve objectives of the national curriculum such as the development of all communicative skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing). For this reason, this work has focused on the use of printed didactic resources to contribute to the development of written vocabulary and for this purpose, we worked with fifth grade students applying the proposed class system following the direct translation method during the teaching and learning process, given that the use of didactic resources must be linked to the purpose of the class, otherwise, students will present difficulties in developing the activities proposed by the teacher.
