Diseño y factibilidad de la ruta agroturística de la concha prieta como alternativa de diversificación económica en bajo alto

Abstract

This research was carried out in the Bajo Alto commune, El Oro Province in Ecuador, with the objective of designing and developing the feasibility of the agrotourism route of the concha prieta as an alternative for economic diversification in Bajo Alto, taking into account mainly the strengths and weaknesses of the territory, for which a non-experimental descriptive analytical study research was applied, in second instance the application of a descriptive, non-experimental, field and transversal research method, aimed at evaluating the tourism potential of the place. The growth of tourism and the great contribution it generates to local economic development, bets to become the most important economic activity for rural economies, as a productive activity. It is concluded that for the agro-tourist routes to be successful, it is of vital importance to design an agro-tourist route, so that the residents and visitors provide an added value, with the participation of different actors of the community, the agro-tourist route not only promotes adventure tourism but also promotes gastronomy, such as the sale of shell ceviche and other derivatives of this product which allows them to have a subsistence income for the family that is dedicated to this activity.
