Implementation of a system of classes with phonics techniques and learning strategies with PBL approach to improve english pronunciation in students of sixth grade of general basic education.

Abstract

This degree project is based on a mixed methodological paradigm, with a descriptive non-experimental transversal design, focused on solving a problem in the students of the 6th year of EGB of Nueva Aurora, private school during the school year 2024-2025, related to pronunciation in the teaching and learning of the English language. Based on the problem, the implementation of a class system was developed to improve pronunciation with the use of phonetic techniques and activities with a problem-based learning approach. Theoretical methods such as the historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, hypothetical-deductive and systematic methods are used, as well as empirical methods such as the observational card and pedagogical tests. Finally, the proposal is concretized with the application of the class system and the obtaining of results through statistical data, which corroborate the theoretical information and the implementation in the teaching practice, allowing to evaluate its effectiveness in improving the teaching-learning process in the students.
