Abstract
The research work covers the difficulty presented by students with special educational needs of the middle sublevel in the process of reading and writing. The purpose of the research focuses on developing a proposal for a virtual platform for the improvement of reading and writing of students with special educational needs of the basic education school “Sulima García Valarezo”. In the methodology, a qualitative approach, inductive-deductive method, action research type was assumed.

El trabajo de investigación abarca la dificultad que presentan los estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales del subnivel medio en el proceso de la lecto-escritura. El propósito de la investigación se centra en elaborar una propuesta de plataforma virtual para el mejoramiento de la lecto-escritura de estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales de la escuela de educación básica “Sulima García Valarezo”.
