Abstract

Generalized anxiety disorder is one of the most common pathologies in the world population. It affects the quality of life of the human being, it presents a picture of excessive anxiety marked by physiological symptoms such as accelerated heart rate, motor restlessness, excessive sweating and also included at a cognitive level ruminative thoughts that cause uncertainty. There are several related factors that give rise to GAD. One of the most influential is personality, an imbalance in this harmony can lead to the development of any affective or emotional pathology that directly affects the areas of functionality of a subject.
