La fotografía como referente del simbolismo sensual de la mujer.

Abstract

This work entitled "Photography as a reference of the sensual symbolism of women" reflects the problem of the representation of the role of women in photography and how it has evolved, taking into account that before being used as an artistic medium it was simply used in the scientific field, and now used to reflect and question social and cultural stereotypes. We must reflect on how photography has perpetuated the sexualization of women with sexist discourses, creating feminist movements to promote a broad and empowered, diverse and more dignified vision of the female human figure. The study of the artistic object is fundamental, where we can highlight the role that photography has played in the construction of identities, movements, resistances in the social sphere, thus analyzing the various approaches which seek to make the image of women invisible, provoking critical and reflective views in the viewer. It is important to put into practice an elaborate artistic development for the production of photographic works that are in black and white, as well as the fragmentations of the human body for the reconstruction of the feminine identity that resists digital and social manipulations with the aim of developing an empowered figure that is more respectful and promotes awareness. On the other hand, it is crucial to emphasize how art history and contemporary media have examined the ways in which cultures, advertising media, and media have contributed to the perception of the female figure, which have generated a very critical and harmful approach to reflect an image of women that is less dominant and with a superficial vision.Finally, as a final result, the objective was achieved that the spectators can interact with the work and can have a better formed criterion and thought of the construction of the female body, thus giving several critical and reflective thoughts, being more conscious in giving an approach in a well-founded way in order to contribute to a deeper identity of our social culture. Likewise, to promote more natural and non-destructive thoughts by conducting interviews with the viewer and to be able to make visible in the most correct way that women are not only an object of desire, but also a symbol of strength and resistance.
