Abstract

The present work entitled “Artistic Proposal on the role of women in society. A look from figurative painting.” seeks to represent in the work the lack of knowledge that Ecuadorian society has towards the historical archievements of women in various sectors of the country and at the same time encourage reflection. Through a cretive and emotional proposal, it is intended to make visible the valuable legacy of these women, highlighting their impact on Ecuadorian history, art and culture. It is expected that by carrying out this investigative work, a contrast of bibliographic information made up of interviews and testimonies Will be created to obtain direct and updated information on the recognition and perception of female contributions in Santa Rosa society, arguing the discourse of the work. The work, which is made up of materials, each of made marking a significant and important representation for the autor, since they are not a simple filler in the painting and that´s it, but they contain very relevant information related to the history, life and art of women, the object of study of this tesis work, therefore the use of acrylic Paint used to outline the faces shows the forcé of fixation and lucidity, the newspaper which is part of the background of the support and also represents the existing but disordered information of the ladies, the printed images capture don the support show a partial coating with a dark tone indicate the representative roles that they play, traditional cooking, domestic chores and healing through the use of shamanism, are different actions that lead to the same and. The artistic proposal is based on the research and collection of information on women who exercise traditional roles to this day. Raising public awareness is of utmost importance as this can créate a focus on recognition and give them the value they deserve for leaving us with a motivation, a memory and a Little piece of their lives. From ancient times to the present, the issue of the lack of recognition, exclusión and low appreciation, of women´s performance has been seen as a topic of lesser relevance to discuss, since it is believed that they should continue to be a simple accompaniment for the male entity and that if this figure does not have its value, declines. Likewise, inequality in opportunities in Educational, worod and artistic fields has always been present. However, there were certain women who decided to persevere in their ideals and continue fighting for better oppotinuties, a reason that gave rise to the acceptance of women in sectors that had not beeb previously even thought of, thus giving birth to prominent artistic in intellect, creativity, dedication and perefomance in recognized Works, becoming as good as those of their male contemporaries and even better, inthe aplication of deferent techiques, with approaches from different and versatile points of view that only feminine subtlety possesses.
