Abstract

The present research work is based on the importance of the use of children's stories in the development of oral language in Preschool II children. The topic tries to delve into how the use of stories favors oral language and how the implementation of strategies facilitates a better understanding of different topics. Currently, not all teachers use this tool, which is why an analysis has been carried out within an educational context for a better approach, It is for this reason that the main objective of the topic arises, which is to determine the relationship that exists between the use of children's stories and the development of oral language. To this end, a quantitative approach has been applied, allowing the collection and analysis of data that answers the research questions, accompanied by a descriptive correlational scope that explains the characteristics of the study variables, and this in turn presents a non-experimental design that indicates that the variables have not been manipulated. To obtain the data and information, an interview and observation guide aimed at teachers and a checklist for the children of an Initial Education Center in the city of Machala were used, which allowed the approximation of the information for the development of a teaching guide to children's stories for the development of oral language. This was followed by the formulation of conclusions and recommendations that respond to the objectives of the research.
