Estrategias de mejora de las importaciones y exportaciones: caso Puerto Bolívar y Puerto Libertador Simón Bolívar periodo 2020-2023.

Abstract

The present case study aims to develop an improvement strategy to increase the imports and exports of Puerto Bolívar in relation to Puerto Libertador Simón Bolívar from 2020 to 2023. The research is conducted from a paradigm with a quantitative perspective complemented by a qualitative one. According to the control of variables, it is non-experimental, and according to its purpose, it is applied research. The population and unit of analysis are the ports of Bolívar and Libertador Simón Bolívar. The study reveals constant growth between 2020 and 2023; however, a disparity in favor of Puerto Libertador Simón Bolívar is observed. This work presents an improvement strategy for Puerto Bolívar to enhance its imports and exports and reduce the gap. The methods used include the historical-logical, the analytical-synthetic, and the inductive-deductive methods. Additionally, the empirical method based on document study was employed, collecting data through reports, articles, and databases. It is recommended to improve operational procedures and optimize port tariffs to boost the productivity and economy of the country. These actions would not only benefit Puerto Bolívar but also contribute to overall economic growth and greater port competitiveness.
