Masculinidad frágil como comportamiento social desde una perspectiva artística

Abstract

This research work is focused on the study of the social behavior of men, as individual members of society, and the impact it has on the other members of the same, mostly in a negative way, especially for the female gender. The proposed theme is approached, trying to create a proposal that manages to reach the spectator and allow him to question the ideals and stereotypes pre-established by society, starting from the reflection of his "I" in the proposal, that is to say, that the spectator manages to identify with the narrative of the work; in this way, inciting the creation of new thoughts about what is perceived as masculine, from a personal or collective point of view. For the execution of the proposal of this work, we have made use of references that have allowed us to create portraits in painting, implementing certain features of surrealism as a tool to show that which the human eye cannot see, such as the feelings or ideas repressed in the subconscious of the person. As for the critical approach to the proposal, the works have been disseminated through social networks, knowing that these, at present, are one of the means of communication that has the greatest reach in society; this with the aim of fulfilling the objective of presenting a work that manages to raise awareness in the public.
