La estimulación temprana como un derecho a la educación inicial 1 en los infantes de 2 a 3 años del centro municipal de aprestamiento y cuidado infantil

Abstract

Early stimulation or early attention activates psychomotor, cognitive, socio- affective development and language in the infant; same that is achieved with the application of fun activities favoring the future learning of boys and girls. This stimulation process is carried out from an early age because it is a stage where the brain matures and the structure of thought and personality of babies develops. Due to the importance of the theme, the general objective is to contribute to the improvement of early stimulation as a right to initial education 1 in infants from 2 to 3 years of the Municipal Center for Child Care and Training of the Colombian Union site, El Cambio parish, Machala canton. The scope of research is explanatory, applied and descriptive, the type of research is mixed because quantitative and qualitative data are combined. For the development of the project, theoretical methods such as analytical-synthetic and historical- logical are used; Empirical methods such as the interview, observation sheet and survey are also used. The sample is made up of 15 children from 2 to 3 years of age, 2 family educators and 15 parents. The results show that children have limitations in the development of cognitive, motor, socio-affective and language skills due to the scarce quality early stimulation as a right in initial education received by boys and girls from 2 to 3 years of age. To solve this problem, an early stimulation program is proposed for children from 2 to 3 years of age. Family-centered model in early stimulation in order to strengthen comprehensive child development. The proposal was evaluated by a team of 8 experts whose results show that the early stimulation program is pertinent and feasible for its application with the infants under study.
