Abstract

The present investigative work was developed in the "Pasaje" High School located in the Province of El Oro in the city of Pasaje, thanks to the cordial collaboration of the teachers and the rector, especially the teacher who teaches the subject of Social Studies and with the support of the students of 8th year of General Basic Education parallel "A".

This research was developed to make the educational community aware of the benefits of incorporating open educational resources in the education of students. As is currently known, the advancement of technology is being witnessed and the need to generate open educational resources with a constructivist pedagogical approach for learning the subject of social studies in the 8th year of Basic General Education of the College is understood. High School Passage.

The main objective of this research is to incorporate an open educational resource, which will result in students having a more significant learning, allowing to determine the effectiveness of the use of the Classcraft tool, so that in this way students build their own knowledge and generate interaction during class. For this reason, an attempt is made to develop open educational resources that are attractive and at the same time interactive and easy to use, where an interface according to the age of the students is fostered, with activities that encourage feedback on the different contents, thus achieving improvement. the teaching and learning process.

In order to be successful in this research, it was vitally important to use qualitative and quantitative approaches mediated by research methods, such as the PACIE methodology that was used for the development of the REA prototype and thus evaluate its implementation. methodological process based on its nature requires the implementation of interviews and surveys to the defined population corresponding to a total of 27 students belonging to the 8th year of parallel Basic General Education "A".

In the development of the prototype, the use of the PACIE instructional design methodology was established, which aims to meet the E-Learning requirements. The educational model does not lose its true purpose as an educational process. Improve student performance through lifelong learning and teaching. Based on the results acquired during the implementations of the prototype during the first and second experiences, it was possible to identify that the prototype managed to strengthen the construction of their own knowledge together with the motivation, interactivity, participation and each of the students, this being a feasible means to improve the teaching of content in Social Studies classes.
