Análisis de la productividad del sector cafetalero en la provincia de El Oro durante el periodo 2017-2021.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze, with regard to the coffee sector of the province, and what was the type of coffee with the highest productivity in El Oro, during the period 2017-2021. Through the advancement of our raised topic, we learned about the types of coffee with the highest production in the province, these being Arabica and Robusta. This research was carried out using the descriptive exploratory method, by which we undertook the relationship between the number of hectares harvested, the amount of production in tons and the yield obtained from the plantations within our province, as well as comparisons between them. In addition, we learned that the type of coffee with the highest production was Arabica and the year with the greatest scope of productivity. During the reference period, in the province of El Oro in 2018 the highest yield in coffee production could be observed, obtaining a total of 170 tons from 279 hectares harvested, obtaining a yield (h/t) of 0. 6. While the year 2021 was the one that had the largest number of hectares harvested with 997 of the 1022 hectares available.
