Impacto psicológico en los estudiantes de enfermería del internado rotativo durante la pandemia covid-19

Abstract

Given the declaration of the current pandemic in March 2020 due to the coronavirus discovered in the province of Wuhan, China at the end of 2019 and the new confinement measures implemented in all countries as a result of the SARS-Cov-2 outbreak generated consequences for the mental health of the general population, especially for health personnel and students (1). The main objective of this research is to determine the psychological impact that the pandemic has on nursing students of the rotating internship who carried out their pre-professional internships in the Maternal and Child area, through the application of a survey through Google Forms. During the course of education and training as professionals, the students have not been prepared to face a health emergency of this magnitude, for which many of them upon entering the rotating boarding school presented doubts, fear, fear, anguish at endangering their lives and that of a family member, due to this the present investigative work was developed. The results obtained are of the utmost importance to be able to give a new focus and importance in the preparation of future nursing professionals, with the sole purpose of knowing how to act in the face of a health emergency of this magnitude.
