Abstract

Nowadays, within the construction field, mortar is the most used material in this sector, since it provides a good relationship in the field of cost and efficiency of the product. In addition to this, it should be taken into account that it is easily accessible and its application, for a good optimization of its use and application, it is important to take into account the correct analysis of the sand with which it will be treated and with which cement it will be used to improve the application of mortars. In the city of Machala, the construction field is undergoing great changes such as development which at the same time requires new projects that are innovative, product of this is the growth of the population and there is greater demand in the labor field. It is for this reason that the present work of qualification DESIGN OF MORTARS WITH THE QUARRIES OF THE LOWER PART OF THE PROVINCE OF EL ORO, which proceeded to the analysis of sand of the quarries of the province of El Oro, according to the studies it was evidenced that if they fulfill the norms within the established by the norms XX. That is why the different behaviors of the sand of the different quarries xx are evaluated, in combination with the cement used and with which one is visualized greater action, the sand has greater impact in the resistance to the comprehension.
