Abstract

The present work has as purpose, the fulfillment of the practical part of the complex exam, for which it was proposed to elaborate the costs, deadlines and schedules with the use of Microsoft Project, of the project. Vía Panamericana Sur, Cantón El Guabo, El Oro. First, an analysis of unit prices (APU) of the items that are involved in the execution of the project was carried out, with the results obtained, the budget of the work was determined, In addition, the work schedule was prepared with the help of Microsoft Project software where we established the duration of each activity and the predecessors, obtaining the execution period of the work. Lastly, the schedules for physical and valued work progress and those for the use of equipment, labor and materials were developed; with which the use of machinery, number of workers that have been required and the quantities of materials for the improvement of the road were determined, trying to optimize the time and cost of execution of the work.
