La producción audiovisual como herramienta de alfabetización emocional en la Universidad Técnica de Machala, año 2021

Abstract

Considering that the health emergency caused by the pandemic of the Covid-19 virus, presented structural changes in education at all levels, the use of audiovisual production tools focused on improving in one way or another the emotional literacy, which is characterized by capturing the concentration of the viewer and thus achieve a balance of cognitive conditions that lead to reflection and improve decision making. With all these aspects a diagnosis was made about the perception that students and professionals of the Communication career of the Technical University of Machala have about the use of audiovisual tools as a fundamental mechanism within education, with the reception of important information that we proceeded to make the respective analysis on the audiovisual material and its platforms; with the use of the data obtained through surveys and interviews as well as the content of videos that are uploaded on the web and are of public use. With all these aspects it is described in a methodological and investigative way the important factors that are determined as fundamental in the whole educational process by the use of these tools, with conditioning factors that can be corrected but that, in a short term, are favorable to improve the emotional and cognitive system of the people who use them. In this sense, there are technical arguments that guarantee that in a positive way the use of tools always improves the teaching-learning process.
