Orientación profesional en estudiantes de bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa Ciudad de Huaquillas

Abstract

The present investigation has the objective of approaching the professional orientation in the students of Tenth Year of Basic General Education of the Educational Unit Ciudad de Huaquillas, in order to know the degree of knowledge of the students about the selection of specialty and about the existing curricular networks in the institutions offering the baccalaureate. The exploratory research methodology was applied, with the following theoretical methods, historical-logical, analytical, synthetic, inductive, deductive, systemicstructural-functional. The problem of this research work is based on the difficulty of the students to choose the option in the baccalaureate. In each school year, the professional orientation program of the Ministry of Education is not complied with, the family sometimes tries to force the selection of their children's specialty, and there are teachers who do not plan their activities option guidance. Based on the results and the pertinent interpretive analysis, the data show the need to use strategies that help improve the vocational orientation of students with reference to their being able to choose a specialty in high school appropriately. To conclude, it is argued that it is required to have the necessary information to make this decision so important for students and in the same way, to provide parents or representatives and teachers, the necessary instruction to support students.
