Aprovechamiento de agua lluvia mediante la captación y tratamiento para uso doméstico en la parroquia Palmales del cantón Arenillas

Abstract

This area is supplied with water by wells which, through a system of pumps, carry the vital liquid, but the contribution of this project, which deals with the APPROVEMENT OF RAINWATER THROUGH CAPTATION AND TREATMENT FOR DOMESTIC USE IN THE PALMALES PARISH OF THE CANTON ARENILLAS, aims to establish a practical and low-cost solution. This is a system that has been yielding results in other countries where many of the times they only have rain in certain seasons of the year and others have abundant rainfall and it is only necessary to redirect its channel, because the hydraulic element throughout the last decades has been wasted. Although the design does not have a standardised guide at the country level, the research has led to the adaptation of formulas, guides from other international organisations, scientific articles based on other regions and adapted to the reality of this sector, data tables, among other information that arose from a field survey, planimetry carried out on the houses in the sector and other techniques that were used to help formulate this work. The result of this project ends with obtaining the size of the rainwater potential, the volume of the efficient tank and the visualisation of the design by means of isometric views and cross-sections.
