Intervención del trabajador social en la gestión responsable de residuos sólidos y el turismo gastronómico de la parroquia Puerto Jelí

Abstract

This essay details the way in which the social worker intervenes from professional practice at different levels, such as, individual, group and community, with emphasis on community intervention that is carried out in the face of environmental problems, in such a way that succeed in promoting the balance between man and nature. Likewise, the methodological way used by the social worker to empower community members to make good use of the natural resources of the place they inhabit is detailed, without damaging the environment, for example, for community tourism and gastronomic tourism. In the next chapter you will find information on gastronomic tourism, which has become the community tourism present in Ecuador since the 70s and the proposals to elevate it to community tourism, being so necessary in the Puerto Jelí parish, where its visitors come to taste the dishes. seafood typical of the area, but they do not find another tourist attraction outside of the gastronomic that is offered, showing the need for a social project that allows visitors to present the history and culture of its fishing people. Following is a description of what responsible management means in the management of solid waste and the way in which these waste are managed from the municipality of Santa Rosa, to which Puerto Jelí belongs, which represents a real environmental problem, with a view to propose a way to improve the problem, as a first need to promote community tourism.
