Análisis de la educación ambiental con un enfoque a la situación actual de programas establecidos en el Ecuador

Abstract

Environmental education constitutes a key piece to sensitize the citizen to the growing ecological deterioration, effective instruments of awareness are used that allow small changes to be achieved towards optimizing the quality of the environment and providing a better future for future generations. Therefore, the present study analyzed the current situation of environmental education in Ecuador, through bibliographic sources to obtain knowledge about its achievements, thus being the qualitative approach used, at the same time, it was framed within the documentary research because it was mainly used to books and articles. The said, the programs identified remain in force for the most parta, have both positive and negative aspects and are valuable tools destined to educate ecologically without representing any economic cost to the individual. On the other hand, the indicators that are part of the evaluative method are around twenty, they have been adapted to a weighted scale with quantitative values since they did not originally have it. Consequently, the virtual space established by the Chilean country was considered, it is constituted as an academic platform, where it´s ultimate purpose is to continuously teach courses to promote knowledge and shape conscious societies, through this site any citizen can participate openly regardless of their level of instruction.
