Las artes plásticas en la sociedad actual, y su aporte a la identidad socio-cultural de la Utmach

Abstract

The research work called "The Plastic Arts in today's society, and its contribution to the socio-cultural identity of the UTMACH", is directed to the production of an art of the Machaleña population, and the manifestations that this provokes in the student population of the Technical University of Machala and the population of Machala in general. In the content you will find the importance that expresses the knowledge of the identity of the peoples and their culture, it will be possible to observe briefly the history and evolution of art and its contribution in the development of the peoples, features of the development of art in Ecuador , and the analysis of the production of Machaleño public art and the causes that determine these types of expressions as art in our medium and its contribution to our social environment, and the scope it has in contemporary times. The development of the proposal was based on the analysis of the Mexican muralist public art movement, the influence and contribution it had in society at the moment, and even the influence that outside its social field. After the analysis of the muralist movement, and based on the historically charged artistic experiences of meaning, which at the time served to teach the Mexican population what had happened in the revolution of their nation, so in this way the muralism for its monumental and pedagogical characteristics, so we proceeded to develop a proposal based on the socio-cultural burden that it had, but proposing characteristics that will contribute to the mural's reloading of significance and content bundled with our, with the development f the visual imaginary that implicitly contains the theme of historical progress that marked the creation of Machala University, and bring it to a point in these times, since this history is not only forgotten by the university student population, but also forgotten the population of Machala in general. For this reason it has been proposed the creation of a democratized art, which unfolds in the spaces of public-social transition, which contributed to the proposal reaching public of all social classes. This led the population to question and identify with their history and the development of our people. With the technical diversity that exists to make art in contemporary society, it is allowed to merge the mural with the three-dimensional pickpocket of the sculpture to obtain a better perspective of the artistic work. The artistic proposal concludes in the visual recognition of the theme embodied in the imaginary of the graphic composition of the mural, which abstracts in it, the historic feat published by the creation of a university for the people of Machala and the province of Gold. Confident of having had a good acceptance with the design of the mural and the recognition of the theme by the public, it is necessary to continue with the development of these artistic manifestations for cultural identification in the city of Machala.
