Abstract

The present research work consists of an evaluation of the current organizational structure of the Bustamante furniture store located in the city of Santa Rosa, El Oro province. For this reason, the purpose of the research is to design and analyze the organizational structure of the The Bustamante furniture company, through the elaboration of a matrix structure to improve teamwork, we used the descriptive - observatory method to know the situational and organizational state of how the company is doing, also basing ourselves on bibliographical references of scientific journals emphasizing our object of study. when using this methodology, true information was collected on how the company works and it was observed that the organizational structure is not adequate for its structure, inefficient organizational communication. As a conclusion has been verified, the fulfillment of the objective of the investigation, when proposing a model of matrix structure that will allow the organization to have a greater flexibility, communication and amplitude of skill, where each area can have its supervisor for a better performance of the activities of the company and of course the communication networks both formal and informal within the organization are more effective in all departments that make them up.
