Análisis de los inventarios y sus características en los almacenes De-Prati.

Abstract

The purpose of this research work is to analyze the inventories and their characteristics in the DE-PRATI warehouses, located in the city of Guayaquil. It is recommended to apply the deterministic model of the continuous demand, which will be the EOQ Basic Model, with the purpose of achieve a minimization of inventory maintenance costs. In this inventory model we seek to opt for the most economical quantity of the order, the cost of maintaining inventory, the optimal number of orders to be placed and the reorder point, with the sole objective of achieving a better control of inventory management. To calculate the optimal quantity of inventory we have proposed mathematical models, linear programming, the type of demand, type of inventories explaining in detail, based on bibliographical references, scientific papers, in order to obtain excellent research. We seek to have orders of optimal quantities, that is, to reduce the amounts of money that the company owns, with the sole purpose of achieving an economic benefit.
