Resumen:
Este trabajo investigativo sobre la “EVALUACIÓN DEL SISTEMA DE TUTORÍAS ACADÉMICAS Y SU IMPACTO EN LA FORMACIÓN INTEGRAL DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DE LA FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS EMPRESARIALES DE LA UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE MACHALA, PERIODO 2012-2013 Y PROPUESTA DE UN PLAN DE POLÍTICAS, NORMAS Y ESTRATEGIAS INSTITUCIONALES DE REGULACIÓN, EJECUCIÓN Y SEGUIMIENTO” hace un análisis minucioso acerca de las tutorías académicas en la educación superior y su aporte a la formación integral de los estudiantes, para ello es indispensable establecer un sistema de tutorías integral estructurado de forma adecuada, a fin de que las tutorías académicas cumplan su función inicial que va encaminada al acompañamiento en el proceso de formación profesional, guiando al estudiante desde su ingreso al campo universitario, para evitar el fracaso y deserción universitaria.
