Resumen:
The felling of trees is a problem that has been occurring for a long time, throughout the country, not to say in the whole world, however, we have focused on the Province of El Oro where there has been a greater concentration of deforestation in several areas of the same as Piñas, Arenillas, Portovelo, among others, being one of the largest mangrove felling due to the creation of shrimp farms and other causing serious changes to the environment. An analysis was made of the percentage of deforestation in our province and how this has affected the environment and society itself, we also reviewed the measures taken by El Oro prefecture and other authorities to prevent this from increasing causing more problems in the future.

La tala de árboles es una problemática que se ha venido dando desde hace tiempo atrás, en todo el país, por no decir en el mundo entero, sin embargo, nos hemos centrado en la Provincia de El Oro donde ha habido mayor concentración de deforestación en varias zonas de la misma como Piñas, Arenillas, Portovelo, entre otras, siendo una de las mayores la tala del manglar debido a la creación de camaroneras y demás, ocasionando graves cambios al medio ambiente. Se realizó un análisis sobre el porcentaje de deforestación existente en nuestra provincia y como ha afectado esto al medio ambiente y a la sociedad misma, además repasamos las medidas tomadas por la prefectura de El Oro y demás autoridades para evitar que esto siga aumentando ocasionando más problemas en el futuro.
