Análisis del potencial turístico del cantón Huaquillas para efectuar el desarrollo de un producto en la isla “El Conchal”.

Abstract

Due to the positioning of the tourism as a highly economic activity, the territories seek to guarantee his image by means of the identification of tourist potentials that allows them to assure a development for all the possible means. The present work analyzes the natural, cultural elements, facilities and infrastructure for the development of the tourist activity realized in the canton Huaquillas, territory that in spite of be considering to be an important zone due to his history and frontier zone does not possess previous studies and relating information to the tourist branch. This investigation has as principal aim examine Huaquillas's tourist potential effected by means of the method of descriptively - analytical and bibliographical documentary for knowledge of central topics. Supported of the field observation, visit insitu with the application of specification sheets for the raising of information of attractions and the counterfoil DAFO. Giving as result, deficiencies in accessibility and facilities for the tourist causing a desaprovechamiento to the natural and cultural wealth. This result allowed to identify the suitable zone for the development of a new product corresponding to the community tourism, being A Hualtaco Port the most profitable area.
