Abstract

This paper analyzes the assessment of the graduates of the degrees in disciplines related to the Social Sciences of the Pablo Guardado Chávez University, located in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas; Mexico, regarding the emerging citizenship with which they have faced. The recovery of the data was done through surveys and questionnaires, which were treated through a statistical program. The results show that the graduates based on the professional training acquired, propose that the plans and study programs consider theoretical bases to live in a diverse society, such as the one they have faced in the professional field, likewise, they specify that the itizenship is not static, but varies according to the context where they are located. Finally, the document closes discussing the implications of the curricular design of plans and study programs to train professionals with a sense of social responsibility before a citizenship that builds identity, according to the context in which daily life is carried out.
