Abstract

In the present investigative work we try to promote the waterfall "La Florida" as a tourist resource. The realization of this project will serve in the future to increase the number of visitors to attend and to know the charm of this natural beauty. . For these reasons it can be exploited and used as a tourist place, and in this way support the economic axis of this place, which will thus allow the implementation of the proper tourist plant in the future. That is why in this project the type of descriptive and explanatory research will be used, since the greatest amount of information will be collected and in a detailed and orderly manner of the attraction. The approach to be used is qualitative because it will allow the use of descriptive and analytical tools through observation. For which the surveys applied to the residents in the city of Machala will be manipulated as a tool, where as a result 88.5% have not heard about said attraction, the Florida waterfall, where one of the factors that intervene in ignorance of said place is the lack of publicity.
