dc.descriptionLas infecciones urinarias es uno de los problemas de salud que más afecta a la población, en la mayoría de los casos a personas de la tercera edad debido a factores como: nivel socioeconómico, al mal uso de antibióticos o suspensión del tratamiento terapéutico, generando resistencia bacteriana y dando como resultado que esto se agrave y se tienda a usar antibióticos de amplio espectro1,2. Un factor importante del cual se ha olvidado el personal de salud junto con el ministerio es el uso correcto del antibiograma, debido a que se prescribe, pero sin el debido seguimiento y control del paciente, dejándose guiar más por la sintomatología que por el agente causal, haciendo que el paciente sea más vulnerable y dificulte su recuperación3,4.es_ES
dc.description.abstractUrinary tract infections is one of the health problems that most affects the population, in most cases to the elderly people due to factors such as: socieconomic level, the misuse of antibiotics or suspension of therapeutic treatment, generating bacterial resistance and resulting in this aggravated and tends to use broad-spectrum antibitics1,2. An important factor that has been forgotten by health personnel along whith the ministry is the correct use of the antibiogram, because it is prescribed, but whitout proper follow-up and control of the patient, being guided more by the symptomatology tan by the causal agent, making the patient more vulnerable and dificult to recover3,4.es_ES
