Análisis comparativo del costo beneficio de la capa de rodadura de los diferentes tipos de pavimentos en las vías urbanas de la ciudad de Machala.

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to determine the comparative analysis of the cost-benefit of the wearing course of the different types of pavements in the urban roads of the city of Machala, through laboratory tests with concrete cylinders whose resistance is 240 kg/cm2 and 280 kg/cm2, in addition to asphalt briquettes with a percentage of 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 6.5, 7% respectively to determine the optimum percentage of asphalt. With this, a unit price is estimated for the preparation of these pavements. The Comprehensive Road Plan of El Oro and the Multiannual Investment Plan 2019-2023 of GAD Machala, where the prices for routine maintenance (annual) and periodic maintenance (every 5 years) are denoted, are taken as a reference. Rigid and flexible pavements are compared in terms of their preparation, vehicular traffic analysis, maintenance costs and a cost-benefit analysis is performed, estimating the TIR and VAN, which will provide such analysis and with this it will be possible to obtain which of the two types of pavements is the most optimal and beneficial
