Modelo de programación lineal: maximización utilidad en empresa obreco en la construcción de viviendas en la ciudad de Machala.

Abstract

This research work seeks to maximize the profit of the company “Obreco Cía. Ltda. " in the construction of two types of housing (Type "A" of 200m2 and type "B" of 226m2) in the "La Arboleda" urbanization of the city of Machala located in the "Ciudadela El Periodista" sector, due to the fact that this town presents an unsatisfied demand in this economic sector. Said maximization was carried out through the use of linear programming, specifically the graphic method due to the constancy of only two decision variables. In turn, sensitivity tests were performed to achieve a deeper analysis and determine the effect of a change in the coefficients of the objective function. It should be noted that, for a more accurate analysis of the results, an in-depth investigation of the theory related to operations research and its relationship with the production sector was carried out, obtaining as final results the optimal number of houses to build and the quantity in which the coefficients of our objective function can vary without modifying our optimal quantity found.
