Abstract
Los sistemas de defensas son elementos muy importantes y necesarios para el atraque
de buques en los Puertos Marítimos del mundo. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo
principal la evaluación del sistema de defensas de los muelles de Espigón de los
atracaderos de Puerto Bolívar para verificar el estado actual de las defensas desde su
colocación en el año de 1968 hasta la actualidad, como material principal para la
adquisición de las defensas de los muelles se analizaron mediante su características
técnicas, estas fueron adquiridas de caucho las cuales producen eficiencia en su
trabajo alargando su vida útil. La metodología empleada para elaborar esta guía,
consistió en la búsqueda exhaustiva de información útil por medio de revisiones
bibliográficas nacionales e internacionales, entrevista a experto en muelles y visita
técnica. Es por esto que todo puerto marítimo se lo debe dotar de un sistema de
defensas, ya que la intensidad de las olas, el golpe que ocasionan los buques al
momento de atraque pueden provocar daños a la infraestructura y por este motivo es
por el cual se utiliza sistemas de defensas para proteger las infraestructuras de los
muelles.
Se concluye que el sistema de defensas del muelle de Espigón de los atracaderos de
Puerto Bolívar se encuentra en buen estado gracias a sus características técnicas que
les permite soportar la cantidad de energía de impacto cinética que genera el barco al
atracar lo cual es menor a la cantidad de energía que las defensas están diseñadas a
soportar . Se recomienda para este muelle un dragado para que mejore el calado para
la entrada de las embarcaciones al muelle y mejore también el atraque de los buques.
Description
Defense systems are very important and necessary elements for the mooring of vessels
in seaports in the world. This research's main objective the evaluation of the system of
defenses of the breakwater of the piers of Puerto Bolivar springs to verify the current
state of defenses from their placement in the year of 1968 to the present, as the main
material for the acquisition of the defenses of the springs were analyzed by their
technical characteristics, they were acquired from rubber which produce efficiency in his
work extending his life. The methodology used to produce this guide, consisted in the
exhaustive search for useful information through national and international literature
reviews, interview with expert on docks and technical visits. It is for this reason that all
seaport should give it is an immune system, since the intensity of the waves, hit causing
vessels when berthing can cause damage to the infrastructure and for this reason is by
which defence systems is used to protect the docks infrastructure.
It is concluded that the system of defenses of the breakwater of the berths of port
Bolivar dock is in good condition due to its technical characteristics that it allows them to
withstand the amount of kinetic energy of impact generated by the boat to the dock,
which is less than the amount of energy that the defenses are designed to withstand.
He is recommended for this spring a dredging to improve the draught for ships entering
the dock and also improve the berthing of ships.
