Abstract

The present investigation consists of a study on the teaching styles that need to be reviewed, contextualized and improved, this is how in the first instance the teaching-learning process is mentioned, which is the object of study; The teaching and learning methods that are the field of research are addressed below, in which the historical characterization of the methods applied in the teaching-learning process is introduced, as well as the conceptual characterization of learning styles and relationship between teaching and learning process, and in the same way, the problem is contextualized within the educational institution, obtaining as a result the initial situation and the possible causes of the problem.
