| dc.description | En la presente investigación se da a conocer la situación actual del Cantón El Guabo, en cuanto al sistema de recolección, transporte y vertido final de RSU; a nivel mundial el manejo de desechos sólidos ha representado un problema, debido a los altos volúmenes de desechos generados por los ciudadanos, los mismos que afectan a la salud y al medio ambiente. Mediante encuestas, entrevistas y visitas in situ se obtuvo como resultado que el Cantón no cuenta con horarios establecidos, rutas bien definidas, ni la suficiente cantidad de camiones recolectores para abastecer la demanda de la ciudadanía, y un botadero a cielo abierto causando una severa contaminación ambiental. Ante estas circunstancias se vio la necesidad de plantear un plan para mejoramiento del transporte y vertido de RSU del Cantón, planteando los siguientes programas: establecer horarios, mejorar las rutas existentes, adquirir 3 nuevos camiones recolectores con capacidad de recolección de 15.29m3, capacitar a los operarios y a la ciudadanía y poner en marcha el estudio realizado en el año 2014 por AME (Asociación de Municipalidades Ecuatorianas) por lo que se necesita de manera inmediata el cierre del botadero a cielo abierto, con el fin de mitigar el impacto ambiental. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The current investigation unveils the current situation of Canton El Guabo, about the collection, transport and final dumping system of RSU; globally, solid waste management has been a problem, to the high volumes of waste generated by citizens, these affecting health and the environment. Through surveys, interviews and visits was obtained as a result that of Canton El Guabo there are no set schedules, defined routes and not enough trucks to cater to the demand for citizens and an open rubbish dump causing severe environmental pollution. In these circumstances, we saw the need to come up with a plan to improve transport and landfill of El Guabo, considering the following programs: set schedules, improve routes, buy three new collection trucks with collection capacity of 15.29 m3 , teach operators and citizens and start the study conducted in the year 2014 by AME ( Association of Ecuadorian Municipalities) so it takes immediate need to close the open rubbish dump, to mitigate the environmental impact. | es_ES |
