Abstract
Legal or forensic medicine is the science that helps determine the causality of any injury that has been caused. It is the association of medical knowledge and methodology that are put into practice in order to resolve certain legal problems that may be linked to the laws and rights of patients. It is necessary to know the basic bases since this makes it possible to give timely and effective treatment for the type of injury that corresponds. It is necessary to carry out the expert opinion in an optimal way since the professionals who carry out the judicial work will be guided by the opinion presented, since an error made would cause a pronunciation in the final judicial opinion.
Description
La medicina legal o forense es la ciencia que ayuda a dictaminar la causalidad de algún injurio que haya sido provocado. Es la asociación de los conocimientos y metodología médica que son puestos en práctica para poder dar resolución de cierta problemática de tipo legal que puede estar ligada a las leyes y derechos de los pacientes. Es necesario conocer las premisas básicas ya que esto hace posible dar un tratamiento oportuno y efectivo para el tipo de lesión que corresponda. Es necesario realizar el peritaje de manera óptima ya que los profesionales que realizan el trabajo judicial, se guiarán en el dictamen presentado, ya que un error cometido ocasionaría una alteración en el dictamen judicial final.
