Prevención y manejo del sangrado uterino anormal en la mujer en etapa reproductiva

Abstract

Abnormal uterine bleeding is a pathology that is caused by the loss of uterine blood in relation to its volume, frequency and intensity, these can increase if you are associated with risk factors such as obesity, diabetes, sedentary lifestyle, hypertension and menopause. According to their etiology, they are classified into two PALM-COEIN groups (structural and non-structural). Your treatment should be individualized according to its etiology where it will be used, hormonal, contraceptive and surgical treatment. They are the most frequent causes of gynecological consultation worldwide followed by vaginal infections, commonly affecting women over 45 years, also women of African descent in 60% unlike Caucasian women that affects 40%. Objective: The objective of this research work is to establish the prevention and management of abnormal uterine bleeding in women in the reproductive stage by searching for updated bibliographic information to prevent morbidity and mortality and improve the quality of life of women. Methods: The documentary descriptive method was used, through the search for information such as scientific articles, American Guides, Journal, published in the last 5 years, in different electronic search engines: SCIELO, PUB MED, related to the subject of this research.
