Situación socioeconómica de los trabajadores de la empresa minera Heng Long del cantón El Guabo.

Abstract

Mining is currently an activity of great determination within the Ecuadorian economy, since it represents around 11% of GDP, contributes more than 50% of foreign currency, contributes 20% of everything related to tax collection and includes a percentage of great consideration within foreign investment, the objective of this research is aimed at identifying the socioeconomic factors of the workers of the Heng Long mining company of the canton of El Guabo, by collecting information from the workers during the first semester of 2022. The type of research that was applied is descriptive and quantitative, given the level of descriptive research, which will be done in order to write the concepts, characteristics, and other variables broken down throughout the work. Through the application of a survey, it is intended to analyze which are the socioeconomic factors that are developed through mining activity, with the analysis of results obtained from the data generated from surveys carried out with the workers of the Heng Long mining company, it will be possible to verify the contribution to the social, economic and social development of its workers and their families. It can be concluded that socioeconomic factors are determinant in the development of workers in the Heng Long mining company, therefore, these go hand in hand with income, job stability and quality of life of its employees and their families.
