| dc.description | The evaluation of sites for the final disposal of solid wastes generated by large cities is important because it is directly related to the good living of its inhabitants, in this sense the physical, operational, sanitary and environmental characteristics are the areas that are Should study to determine the relevance or otherwise of the proper functioning of these sites or places. To determine the physical characteristics of the site, it is important to investigate the area and location of the site, constructions, number and capacity of cells, availability of material for filling, soil permeability, road access system to the site. In order to determine the operational characteristics, the existence of technical specifications, quantity and type of waste entering, waste management, drainage, geotechnical monitoring, maintenance, area security and administrative management should be investigated. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La evaluación de sitios para la disposición final de los desechos sólidos generados por las grandes ciudades, es importante por cuanto está directamente relacionado con el buen vivir de sus pobladores, en este sentido las características físicas, operacionales, sanitarias y ambientales son los ámbitos que se deben estudiar para determinar la pertinencia o no del buen funcionamiento de estos sitios o lugares. Para determinar las características físicas del sitio es importante indagar el área y ubicación del sitio, construcciones, número y capacidad de celdas, disponibilidad de material para relleno, permeabilidad del suelo, sistema vial de acceso al sitio. Para determinar las características operacionales se debe investigar la existencia de especificaciones técnicas, cantidad y tipo de residuos ingresados, el manejo de los residuos, la existencia de drenajes, el monitoreo geotécnico, mantenimiento, seguridad del área y gerencia administrativa. | es_ES |
