Abstract

Faced with an economy affected by the economic recession caused by the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus, public and private companies are forced to reinvent themselves and seek new forms of financing, for this they have begun to optimize their resources, taking actions to obtain them the best income. In this framework, the Technical University of Machala seeks to face the budget reduction, which is why this study is carried out to measure the feasibility of exporting the fruits of its plantain plantations. This research work is carried out with an exploratory approach, using secondary data to determine if the Asian market is an attractive candidate for the export of green plantains, and to start exports in the first half of 2022.
