Manual de buenas prácticas ambientales enfocado a los residuos sólidos del mercado municipal Buenos Aires del cantón Machala

Abstract

The present study was carried out in the Municipal Market Buenos Aires del Cantón Machala, the City has seven public markets for the sale and consumption of several basic products; the municipality of the city manages several companies, including the Municipal Public Company of Shopping Centers and Camal de Machala EPMCCC-EP in charge of the food trade, and the Municipal Public Toilet Company of Machala EMAM-EP responsible for cleaning, collection and final disposal of solid waste. In the Buenos Aires Municipal Market, the activities and sanitation problems that take place within this establishment were identified and characterized. As an alternative, a manual of good practices that focus on solid waste as inorganic and organic to manage environmental impacts is designed. The purpose of the research is to provide information about alternative waste management, to promote awareness and good environmental practices from the management of the company to the merchants and customers.
