Abstract

Nowadays, one of the most used instruments in travel planning are Smartphones, they have become one of the most common tools applied in tourism management. Mobile applications in the tourism sector facilitate access to information about a destination in a quickly and safely way, and they have the ability to simplify the decision-making process through the consumer's expectations produced by other users experiences. That is why this research aims to propose the design of a mobile application model of tourist routes, which is focused on the dissemination of cultural and natural attributes of the Pasaje canton, El Oro Province - Ecuador, oriented to satisfy the user expectations, ensuring its usability and accessibility.
