Abstract
This case study aims to evaluate investments with fixed income, through the study of various investment alternatives, to make strategic decisions that maximize the return on capital. Therefore, the analytical-synthetic method has been used to determine the importance of the evaluation of investments with fixed income, and to be able to identify the positive and negative aspects that influence investing in fixed income. Therefore, investment evaluation methods with fixed income have been applied in the practical case. With which it has been concluded that it is necessary for the investor to evaluate the different investment options to know the performance, convenience and risk.

El presente estudio de caso pretende evaluar inversiones con renta fija, mediante el estudio de diversas alternativas de inversión, para tomar decisiones estratégicas que maximicen el rendimiento del capital. Por ende, se ha utilizado el método analítico-sintético, para determinar la importancia de la evaluación de inversiones con renta fija, y poder identificar los aspectos positivos y negativos que influyen al invertir en renta fija. Por lo cual se han aplicado métodos de evaluación de inversiones con renta fija en el caso práctico. Con lo cual se ha llegado a concluir que es necesario que el inversionista evalúe las distintas opciones de inversión para conocer el rendimiento, la conveniencia y el riesgo.
