La radio online como medio de periodismo cívico para integrar a colectivos de mujeres en Machala.

Abstract

This research project was carried out to measure the civic participation and perception of two groups of women from the city of Machala in the online radio media of the same city, and after this propose a radio program that includes content aimed at disseminating participation of the women's groups, for this, research instruments were used, such as interviews with the directors of four online radio stations in Machala and experts in radio programming, in addition to conducting a focus group on the women's groups in the canton, with the aim of to get a contrast of opinions in the investigation. The results showed that there is civic participation of women's groups in online radio stations, but according to the groups' own versions, only when it comes to important dates or events of interest in which they are involved. On the other hand, online radio media need to have greater knowledge of only one of the groups, in addition to this it was determined that there is no space in any of the online radios analyzed above, where the groups have a periodic role.
