La recreación de la historia mediante videos para la enseñanza en niños de quinto grado de EGB

Abstract

History is one of the fundamental pillars in the integral formation of the student, therefore, its didactic treatment must be adapted to the needs of the current educational context, in order to achieve significant learning within the training process of the learner. However, the correct teaching of this subject is a frequent problem within the school environment, since the use of traditional teaching methods and classic resources such as the textbook prevails, which results in a lack of motivation for the student and therefore an incorrect learning process. According to the above, the present work determines the use of videos as innovative didactic material in the teaching of History, for which a qualitative research was carried out, using the analytical-synthetic method in the information gathered from secondary scientific sources. The results obtained allowed conceptualizing and characterizing the variables established in the title of the research, in addition to supporting the thesis of the object of study, since the multiple benefits offered by the video as didactic material in the learning of History were evidenced, since it adapts to visual and auditory learning, styles that predominate in a society closely linked to technology. Finally, the motivational factor that this resource exerts in teaching is highlighted, making historical learning a process developed in a more attractive, contextualized and dynamic environment for both the student and the teacher.
