| dc.description | Los Estados Financieros son instrumentos fundamentales que proporcionan información oportuna para la toma de decisiones empresariales; el presente tema de investigación, tiene como objetivo estudiar el manejo de los estados financieros de las Pequeñas y Medianas Empresas (PYMES), mediante el uso de metodología cuantitativa, para lo que fue necesario realizar consulta bibliográfica y de campo, indagar a los empresarios sobre la información que utilizan para una eficiente administración financiera y cómo realizan el control. Se obtiene como resultado que, las pequeñas empresas no elaboran estados financieros, y que son las medianas las que operan adecuadamente los estados financieros y les permite desarrollarse en el mercado.
