Disfuncionalidad familiar y adolescentes embarazadas

Abstract

The problems of family dysfunctionality of pregnant adolescents is lack of affection. In addition, they often trust that their partner will provide affection, understanding, attention, caused to start their sexual activity for the first time, regardless of how old they are, therefore, teenagers believe they have found love with their partner, this is a consequence from a home where affectivity and communication are scarce. The interest of this work is due to the high rate of teenage pregnancies that have occurred today, being a problem that is present internationally and some of the causes of this problem is of a family-type type. This problem, for the purpose of study, is identified and located in the Machala Canton where work will be carried out in coordination with the Urban Adolescents project, building its future of the Machala GAD. To get to know the social problem, a survey was applied to pregnant adolescents and the interview with 22 families and 8 promoters. This intervention was aimed at 22 families, which allowed identifying and developing an intervention plan called Assertive communication and contraceptive methods, which consisted of developing workshops to reduce the problem that affects adolescents under study.
