Funcionalidad o disfuncionalidad desde la perspectiva sistémica a través del análisis de la escala de percepción del funcionamiento familiar

Abstract

The social nucleus called family is the area where individuals acquire their personal skills, so its operation must be suitable to allow its integral development. The systemic approach to determine the level of functionality in which a family is found allows us to understand that this institution is responsible for the emotional development of its members, and that the shortcomings are generated by the system itself, as well as by external agents. The members of a family are divided into other interdependent systems or subsystems with the capacity and autonomy to develop and function in different social environments without difficulties. The general objective of this work is to analyze the resources that the family system presents in the face of a crisis by applying the scale of perception of family functioning that shows its functionality or dysfunctionality. The application of the FF-SIL Test is an easy-to-apply instrument that allows evaluating the resources of family dynamics, based on 7 variables, these are cohesion, harmony, communication, affectivity, roles, permeability and adaptability, allowing to establish the degree of functionality. Recognize the events that lead to dysfunction, responsible for serious mental health effects on family members throughout their life cycle.
